Workshop materials available: SSbD scenarios for advanced and incremental innovations

On June 23, 2025, the NSC Community Working Group on Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD), Innovation & Regulation successfully hosted an online workshop: "SSbD scenarios for advanced and incremental innovations." This collaborative event gathered experts and innovators from four EU-funded projects: AlChemiSSts, DESIDERATA, PLANETS, and SUNRISE.

Over 60 participants learned:

  • Describing SSbD scenarios with early-stage innovation knowledge.

  • Identifying key contextual factors (like company type or budget) that influence these scenarios.

  • Using real-world case studies from EU projects to develop scenarios.
