The SSbD25 conference aims to provide a discussion forum for experts from various relevant fields and sectors who are already working or considering working with implementation of the Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design concept. This year's edition takes place on November 10-12, 2025 in Zurich, Switzerland at the Empa Akademie.

The Call for Abstracts has opened! Contributions from all fields of research, industry and policy are welcome!

Send your abstract submission to ssbd-conference@ivl.se no later than the 30th of June (23:59 CEST).
You will get feedback on your abstract by the 15th of August.

The registration to the conference will open in September.
