Concept Highlights
The concept of SUNRISE combines the bottom-up development of methods for assessment of health, environmental, social and economic impacts with their top-down integration in the overarching Integrated Impact Assessment Framework (IIAF) designed to support SSbD decision-making for products enabled by advanced materials.
Each tier is dedicated to an integrated impact assessment methodology tailored to distinct stages of the innovation process.
This approach will progressively enhance the sophistication and precision of assessment methods, along with the investment of time, resources, data, and expertise needed for their implementation.
